Introduced in 1976, the Super Swede was Hagstrom’s flagship solid body guitar. All mahogany construction with a glued in neck, the guitar benefitted from Hagstrom’s rail truss rod. Seen in the hands of players such as Larry Corryell, Björn Ulvaeus and more recently Pat Smear who is said to have the largest collection of Hagstrom guitar in the US. Resides in Porvoo.
