What we have here is a frickin´groove machine. A superlatively mojo-ish Jazz Bass, with 1969 neck and 1968 neck plate serial. Pots are dated 6642 (42nd week, 1966). One volume pot has been replaced, pickguard is repro with right screw holes in it and the neck pickup seems to be a Dimarzio with hex adjustable pole pieces.
This bass belonged to a late Tampere-based Finnish musician. You can spot the bass from the music video of his former band Hela/Hietanen (Hey Tonight, CCR-cover).
Comes with a hard shell case that could tell few stories from the road. Original ashtray. Weight: 3.97 kg.
