This 1970s patriotic-themed flat top by Harmony, known as the Buck Owens American H169 Model, is a classic piece of American fretted history that also happens to sound surprisingly good!
Originally featured on Buck Owens' appearance on TV's HEE HAW, the guitar was made for him by Semie Moseley and became so popular that Sears, Roebuck and Co. struck a licensing deal with Buck to sell them in their catalog.
Made in Chicago, this guitar has several Mosrite-esque touches and is in fine, all-original condition. While they boast Japanese tuners, they are still considered American-made. This flashy stage guitar is a neat collectible and has a surprisingly good sound.
It has some marks of aging, like the glueing of the pickguard, but the sound and overall condition is great!
Nut width is comfortably wide 45 mm, and the neck is beefy, but not too meaty for an acoustic. The neck is in good angle, and the string height is easily manageable from first to 12th fret.
Guitar was bought from States and brought to Finland in 2017.
